Search Engine Marketing or SEM for its acronym in English consists of promoting your website,  getting a good ranking  in search engines such as google providing more visitor traffic.  

The difference between SEO and SEM is that SEO is organic and does not have the same scope or speed to position yourself in Google, nor the same scope.  

The SEM uses the Google Ads tool which allows you to position your brand, service or product in different areas and types of ads.  

  • Text ads: To promote products or services with text to position the site or so that  be found  easier on search engines like google, yahoo, etc.

  • Graphic ads: These are the ads that appear on different pages, famously known as cookies.

  • Responsive Ads: Promote your services or products on display networks such as YouTube or applications with promotional videos.

  • Video ads: They are promoted only through display networks where videos can be played (such as: youtube, mobile applications, etc.).   

  • Shopping: It is only used to promote any type of product(s) in the google digital store. 

  • App Promotion Ads: Promote your apps through display networks.   

  • Call Ads: Allow your customers to call your company directly by just clicking on the ad. 

  • Rich Media Ads: These are ad formats that can include animations or interactions. 

  • Ads with extensions: Extra elements that can be added to the ads to offer additional information about the company, product or service.
